Nursery Manager - Carousel Nursery

Salary:

30,000 - 33,000 per year (pro rata for part-time, depending on experience)

Hours:

Part-time (3-4 days per week) preferred, but full-time considered

Location:

We pride ourselves on providing high-quality childcare and early years education in a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive. With two nurseries serving the Deepings area, we're growing steadily and now need a strong manager to lead our Bridge Street team into its next chapter.

The Role

As

Nursery Manager

, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the nursery, leading and supporting your team to deliver the very best outcomes for children. You'll be working closely with the directors, ensuring compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements, while also building strong relationships with staff, children, and families.

Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing daily operations, staffing, and ratios Leading and mentoring a dedicated team of practitioners Driving high standards in teaching, learning, and safeguarding Managing budgets, occupancy, and resources effectively Building excellent parent partnerships and community links Preparing for and leading Ofsted inspections
About You

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a minimum

Level 3 Early Years qualification

(Level 5+ preferred) Has at least

2 years' leadership/management experience

in an early years setting Demonstrates excellent knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements Brings strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills Is passionate about delivering an "Outstanding" childcare experience
