At Duns Community Nursery, we're more than just a childcare setting -- we're a not-for-profit, staff-and-parent led nursery nestled in the heart of the Scottish Borders. You'll keep our nursery running smoothly while making sure our children, families and staff feel welcomed, valued, and supported. You've got the qualifications, the vision, and the love for little learners to make a real difference.
Your day-to-day will include: - Leading and supporting our wonderful team of practitioners - Ensuring high-quality early learning and care following national guidance (Curriculum for Excellence, Realising the Ambition, etc.) - Managing rotas, wages, staff development and wellbeing - Building strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider community - Overseeing nursery operations, policies, safeguarding and compliance - Keeping things running like clockwork -- from enrolments to snack times!
