Job Summary

The Nursery Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This position involves managing staff, engaging with parents, and implementing educational programmes that promote early childhood development. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for childcare, fostering a positive atmosphere for both children and staff.

Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage and support nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that encourage children's development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development milestones, and incidents. Foster a welcoming environment that promotes positive relationships among children, staff, and parents. Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of childcare professionals. Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and staff. Experience in early childhood education or related fields is essential. Ability to drive initiatives that promote child development within a nursery setting. Knowledge of best practices in childcare and early years education. A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their needs. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is highly desirable.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-42,352.30 per year
