Job Summary:

The role consists of 39 hours per week with a Wednesday as your day off, supporting a

positive staff team

to provide a calm, caring environment for the children in our care.

support with management tasks.

The current role is maternity cover, although the contracted position is maternity cover only, upon successful probation, the suitable candidate will be offered a suitable contract at the end of the maternity contract.

You will have the following experience, skills and attributes

-

Have a full and relevant level 3 qualification in Childcare. Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development. Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning. Have strong written and verbal communication skills. A good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and the ability to support staff in using the framework. Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice. Ideally previous experience in a similar role Be a good team player who enjoys working as part of a close-knit family Have the ability to use initiative and to create inspiring and creative activities Be positive, enthusiastic and enjoy working with children Good organisation and delegation skills Previous experience working with outside agencies desirable*
