The Role

A rare opportunity, we're looking for a passionate and confident Manager to continue our success and help us deliver an engaging, challenging and fun curriculum that puts the children and the team at the heart of all you do.

You'll be supported by a long-standing, highly qualified team and a family-run management group who truly care about seeing you reach your highest potential and seeing the nursery shine. This includes a robust Admin and Finance team who ensure that your time is free to focus solely on the smooth and successfully running of the nursery.

A special role, we are excited to find someone as passionate about our nursery setting as we are.

You will:

Lead and inspire a team of up to 30+ early years professionals. From Bank staff, lunch covers, apprentices and Qualified Teachers. The wealth of life and professional experience provides a wonderfully interesting environment. Oversee daily operations, staffing, occupancy, and parent partnerships. Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety standards. Diversity and Inclusion will form a strong element of your role to ensure best outcomes for all children. Work closely with our Directors, General Manager and Apprentice Co-ordinator to embed excellence and innovation. Join our lively Manager's Meetings which pool ideas and drive progress with the teams from our other settings. Support and develop your team through supervisions, training, and mentoring. Be the 'firm but fair' hand that balances all decisions on the needs of the nursery and the wellbeing of the team and children. Build positive, lasting relationships with parents and carers. This includes supporting parents through registration and enrolment and providing show-rounds that make a lasting impression. Step into ratio when needed and lead by example. Please note the role is designed to be supernumerary, but as an experienced Manager you will know the sometimes unexpected nature of nursery life and use this time to monitor and observe your teams practice.
