Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. This role involves managing staff, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, and fostering a nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.

Duties

Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and training as necessary. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and wellbeing. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and play. Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community. Ensure that all health and safety protocols are strictly followed to protect children and staff. Monitor children's development through regular assessments and observations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in childcare or nursery management is essential. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing a team effectively. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance educational outcomes for children. A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development in a nurturing environment. Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education are preferred but not mandatory.
