, you'll take overall responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running and long-term success of the nursery. You'll inspire, guide and develop your team, create a safe and stimulating learning environment, and maintain excellence across all areas of early years provision.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily nursery operations to ensure a safe, compliant and high-quality environment
Lead, motivate and mentor a team of Early Years practitioners
Deliver and embed an engaging, child-centred EYFS curriculum
Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers and external partners
Manage recruitment, training, appraisals and staff development
Drive occupancy levels and contribute to financial and business performance
Ensure continuous Ofsted readiness and full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety and regulatory standards
About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic, proactive leader who is passionate about early childhood education and skilled at empowering others to deliver excellence.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable)
Proven experience in a nursery management or senior leadership role
In-depth understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
A child-centred approach with a focus on continuous improvement
