We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a solid background in early childhood education. This role requires a nurturing individual who can create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children while effectively managing staff and communicating with parents.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in childcare. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's development in all areas. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their children's progress, well-being, and any concerns that may arise. Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of nursery staff. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning through regular inspections and maintenance. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the nursery operates within its financial means. Stay updated on current trends in early childhood education and childcare regulations.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of Proven experience in a management role within a nursery . Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel as necessary for nursery activities or staff meetings. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
