Nursery Manager

Salary: Up to 43,000 per year (depending on experience and qualification)

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding standards. Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of childcare professionals, creating a supportive and collaborative work environment. Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's development and addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment where children can thrive. Supervise staff training and professional development to ensure consistently high standards of care and education. Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) within the nursery.
Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience in a nursery setting (required). Minimum 2 years' experience in a management role (required). Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of early childhood education practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth. Ability to implement new initiatives that improve operations and childcare quality. Relevant childcare or early childhood education qualification.
