We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a nurturing environment for children. This role involves working closely with staff, children, and parents to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns. Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of nursery staff. Ensure that the nursery is safe, clean, and well-organised at all times. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the nursery operates efficiently. Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and implement changes as necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursery or childcare setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation purposes. Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education are highly desirable.
