We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. This role involves managing staff, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, and fostering a nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.
Duties
Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality childcare.
Develop and implement educational programmes that cater to the developmental needs of children.
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external agencies to promote a positive nursery environment.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of health and safety.
Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development.
Organise staff training sessions to enhance skills in childcare and early childhood education.
Manage daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Requirements
Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning environment for children.
