Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and childcare, demonstrating excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role requires an individual who can communicate clearly with both staff and parents, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for children.

Duties

Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's development in line with early years frameworks. Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and training as necessary to enhance their professional development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained. Drive initiatives that foster a positive atmosphere within the nursery, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among staff members. Monitor children's activities to ensure they are engaged and learning in a supportive environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community. Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are highly desirable.
