We are recruiting a Nursery Manger/Senior Manager
Serendipitys Day Nursery was established in 1998, and we run with that same ethos and passion as when the first one opened, now operating 5 settings within Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire.
At each Serendipitys Day Nursery we create a home from home environment so that all the children feel safe and secure to make their own little discoveries and develop to their full potential.
We are currently looking for a Nursery Manager at our Bingham nursery. As a Nursery Manager working with us, you can expect a competitive salary, excellent training and development as well as a caring and passionate place to work. We are a 100 place nursery, currently rated GOOD with OFTSED, with full occupancy. The Manager will be committed to delivering consistently exceptional childcare, and working to achieving OUTSTANDING status.
This position would ideally suit someone who has previous experience and a proven track record of running a high standard setting, or a Deputy Manager from a large setting who has the vision and determination to help move the nursery forward.
We are also looking for a senior manager, details of this role can be discussed.
Key responsibilities -
Motivate the team to deliver rich learning opportunities for all children by creating unique and exciting activities.
Ensure that all staff are fully aware of their responsibilities and carry out their role in line with Serendipitys Training, all policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
You will support the senior management team in keeping abreast of issues within the Early Years sector and be pro-active in making contributions which help to maintain exceptionally high standards of care and education.
You will support the team in assessing and monitoring children's developmental progress and their overall well-being.
You will be responsible for making sure that all children remain safe and that their welfare is promoted.
You will need to demonstrate:
Over 2 years of experience as a Manager or Deputy Manager
Minimum of 3 years occupational experience in a nursery setting
To have held a full and relevant Early Years qualification for at least 3 years
An unrivalled dedication to deliver exceptional childcare
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
We offer excellent training, both in house and will support staff to do extra training in any areas that interest them that is relevant to their role.
