Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and childcare, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills. This role requires effective communication with staff, children, and parents, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for all children in our care.

Duties

Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's development and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress, addressing any concerns or queries. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur within the nursery. Ensure the nursery is well-resourced and that all equipment is safe and suitable for use. Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided, ensuring that best practices are followed at all times.

Qualifications

Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualifications and experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting. Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development. Ability to drive initiatives that improve the quality of care within the nursery setting.
