Jack in the Box Day care is a busy non-profit private day nursery based within Spennymoor. We are rated "Good by" Ofsted and offer full day care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.

The Nursery Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the nursery ensuring the team are supported to provide high quality opportunities and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.

- Is committed and dedicated to lead our much loved community nursery. Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and EYFS standards.
- Has a secure knowledge of all statutory safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Is self -motivated and can motivate others.
- Can bring new ideas and excellent leadership to our team.
- Holds a full and relevant Early Years level 3 qualification (or higher).
- Holds a level 2 in Maths.
- Is enthusiastic and driven to develop and lead high quality learning experiences for children.
- Is committed to supporting families and able to work with a wide range of services to ensure families holistic needs are supported through building trusting relationships and transparency.
- Can lead change and transformation whilst retaining staff engagement.
- Has high energy and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - calm approach and 'can-do' attitude.
- Can reflect on their own performance and respond positively.
-Can encourages colleagues to realise their potential and empower others to create exciting and welcoming learning environments.
- Is able to manage workload and manage time effectively.
- Manage nursery budgets, staffing and administrative duties including evaluating sustainability of the settings business model.
