Are you an experienced nursery professional looking for a leadership role where you can make a real difference?



Due to internal promotion, Happy Days Nurseries is seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our nursery in Verwood, ensuring exceptional childcare, strong team development, and commercial success.

What you will be doing:

As Nursery Manager, you will take charge of the daily operations, ensuring high standards of safety, education, and welfare for all children. You'll provide inspirational leadership, managing and mentoring your team while maintaining compliance with EYFS regulations, safeguarding policies, and OFSTED requirements.



In addition to overseeing care and education, you will drive occupancy levels and commercial performance, using your expertise in sales, marketing, and financial planning to support the nursery's success. A key aspect of your role will be building strong relationships with parents, handling queries and concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.



You will also be responsible for staff development and succession planning, creating a supportive environment where colleagues can learn and grow. Managing recruitment, inductions, training, and appraisals, you will help shape the next generation of nursery professionals while maintaining a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Who we're looking for:

We're looking for someone with strong nursery management experience, a Level 3 Early Years qualification, and a deep understanding of childcare operations, compliance, and financial management. You should be highly organised, proactive, and confident in leading a team, implementing policies, and making data-driven decisions. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure
