Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our dedicated team. The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and education.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, inspire, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding childcare and education. Ensure that all children are provided with an enabling environment where they can learn, thrive, and reach their potential. Oversee and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Support and monitor staff wellbeing, providing effective supervision, guidance, and ongoing training. Be hands-on in practice, working alongside staff to model best practice and foster teamwork. Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements. Promote positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies. Ensure excellent timekeeping, organisation, and management of staff rotas and resources. Drive continuous improvement within the nursery by evaluating practices and implementing new ideas.

Requirements

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (Level 5 or above preferred). Previous experience in a senior role within an early years setting. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. A genuine passion for early childhood education and development. Knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted standards, and EYFS framework.

Pay: 35,000.00-37,000.00 per year
