The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, quality, and operational excellence of

. Your focus will be on:
Quality of Education
- Embedding a stimulating, progressive curriculum and ensuring outstanding outcomes for children.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Leading, inspiring, and mentoring a team of practitioners to deliver their very best every day.
Innovation in Early Years
- Bringing fresh ideas, creativity, and new approaches to enhance learning experiences.
Occupancy & Growth
- Building strong relationships with families, the community, and partners to increase enrolment and sustain growth.
Responsibilities
Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's development and learning.
Maintain effective communication with parents, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of nursery staff.
Ensure the nursery is a safe and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
Manage budgets, resources, and supplies efficiently to ensure smooth operation.
Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt programmes as necessary to meet individual needs.
Qualifications
We're seeking a dynamic leader who can balance high standards with a passion for people. You will have:
A minimum of Level 3 (ideally Level 5/6) Early Years qualification.
Proven management experience within an early years setting.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills.
A proactive approach to driving occupancy, growth, and community engagement.Proven experience in management within a childcare setting is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
