Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong ability to manage and nurture young children in a safe and stimulating environment. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring they receive high-quality care and education.

Duties

Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring children's needs are met. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery environment and promote positive behaviour among children. Collaborate with team members to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere for all children. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space to ensure a healthy environment.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences is an advantage. A commitment to ongoing professional development in childcare practices.
