We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities
Supervise and care for children in accordance with nursery policies and procedures
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialisation, and physical development
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages children's curiosity and independence
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
Support children's emotional well-being and behaviour management in a caring manner
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of daily nursery operations
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's development and any concerns
Assist in organising nursery events and activities to enhance children's learning experiences
Provide leadership within the team, guiding junior staff or interns as required
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
Relevant childcare qualifications or early childhood education certifications recognised within the UK
Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise staff effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Childcare experience demonstrating understanding of child development principles
Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external activities
Ability to organise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining a nurturing approach
Passionate about early years education with a genuine interest in supporting children's growth and learning

Pay: 18,315.00-29,353.92 per year
