Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.

This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of children in our care.

Duties

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, encouraging children's curiosity and creativity. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive team environment, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding policies within the nursery setting. Maintain a clean and organised environment, promoting good hygiene practices among children.

Experience

Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings is essential, with a focus on early childhood education. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for working with children, along with the ability to build positive relationships with them.
