Job Title: Nursery Nurse

Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's physical, intellectual, and emotional development
- Assist with feeding and toileting routines
- Monitor children's behaviour and intervene when necessary to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Collaborate with other nursery staff to ensure the smooth running of daily routines and activities
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor or parent/guardian
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns or issues that may arise

Skills:
- Relevant childcare qualification required - CACHE Level 2 or 3
- Previous experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting is desirable
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Ability to create a warm, caring, and inclusive environment for children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children

Pay: 12.21 per hour
