Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of each child.

Responsibilities

Commitment to safeguarding the children at all times, following policy and procedures. Provide high-quality care and support to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Manage daily routines, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all children. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is required. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required. Leadership qualities to effectively manage activities and support fellow staff members are beneficial. A genuine drive to promote children's learning and development through engaging activities is essential.
