Responsibilities
Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and social interaction.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and foster a supportive community.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment.
Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and sharing insights with parents and team members.
Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery space.
Drive initiatives that promote positive behaviour and emotional development among children.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are required.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine love for working with young children and an understanding of their developmental needs.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
