Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Nursery by providing essential administrative support. This position requires proficiency in various software applications, excellent clerical skills, and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing admin emails.
Managing the process of enrolments & registration with oversight from nursery manager.
Managing and submitting funding claims.
Liaising with parents, staff and external agencies.
Maintaining records in line with compliance and statutory requirements.
Compliance with GDPR and confidentiality regulations.
Managing wait lists alongside nursery manager.
Supporting management with communication of events.
Supporting management with nursery welcome packs, prospectus', funding support for parents.
Monitor payments and chase arrears.
Managing software platforms.
Additional responsibilities may include supporting management with arranging meetings/appointments, recruitment processes, filing, website updates and so on, once comfortable in role and where additional support is required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience within an admin role. Experience within a nursery setting is desirable.
Strong IT and communication skills.
Experience managing software platforms.
Good time management.
Able to communicate with warmth and professionalism.
Ability to work within a fast paced environment.
Experience of fees and funding procedures within a nursery setting is desirable.
Solution focused, friendly and positive.
An enhanced DBS check.
