Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role requires effective leadership skills to guide staff and foster positive relationships with parents and children alike.

Duties



Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children. Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and training as necessary. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Ensure a safe and clean environment for children, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Organise activities that encourage children's learning through play, creativity, and exploration. Manage budgets, resources, and supplies to ensure efficient operation of the nursery. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adjust programmes accordingly.

Skills



Proven experience in management within a childcare setting. Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate staff. Experience working with children in a nursery or educational environment. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting children or resources as needed. A nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for child development. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
