Kick-start your childcare career this September with an apprenticeship at Little Tinkers, a high quality Ofsted-registered childcare provision, with a growing nursery setting in Hazel Grove.

We're seeking to recruit a permanent part-time three day a week role for a Nursery Practitioner apprentice to work within our team whilst undertaking a Level 3 early years qualification.

The right person will be reliable, kind, compassionate and have a can-do attitude to working and learning on the job, with the objective of starting a fulfilling career in childcare. You'll help us strive towards helping us create an outstanding nursery, where children thrive and our team flourish.

You will ideally have previous childcare experience and will be keen to learn - not only will you undertake an early years qualification, but you'll also be trained in Paediatric First Aid as safety is a priority of ours. We'll also work with you to enhance your knowledge of safeguarding matters, but again will ensure that training is given to give you confidence and understanding of local processes and procedures.

The role itself involves providing high quality care for children up to 4 years of age, within legal ratios, and meeting all relevant industry legislation/guidelines. You'll work within your room team to create a safe and stimulating environment to promote play-based learning and fun experiences, which meet each unique child's needs.
