Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Practitioner - Godalming & Elstead, Surrey

Salary:

12.50-14.50 per hour / 27,000-29,000 per year (depending on qualifications & experience)

Hours:

Permanent, all-year-round, 36-40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, between 7:30am - 6:00pm

Locations:

Godalming (GU7) and Elstead (GU8), Surrey

Early Years Practitioners / Nursery Practitioners

Godalming

Elstead

. Our nurseries care for children aged 3 months to 5 years and are surrounded by nature, offering daily opportunities for outdoor play, woodland walks, and exploration. We pride ourselves on a caring, personal approach where every child is supported to thrive and flourish.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality childcare and learning in line with the EYFS framework Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to individual needs Support key children with observations, learning journals, and development planning Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment at all times

About You

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)

Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or similar role Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development Passionate about early years education, outdoor play, and hands-on learning Excellent teamwork and communication skills Driving licence preferred for Elstead (limited public transport available) Clear DBS and two references required
