If you would like to join our small, independent nursery and have the right qualifications and
experience, you could be just who we are looking for.
We have a vacancy for a Nursery Practitioner, who could work in our baby room, toddler room, or our preschool. Children play in their dedicated room but also have plenty of opportunity to interact with our whole nursery, explore our garden and go on local visits. We are a child-led nursery, open
all year round, Monday - Friday from 08:00-18:00.
Our Nursery Practitioners are confident and positive.They are effective at working with the room leaders in the day-to-day running of their rooms. They promote the children's well-being, safety and development at all times.
If you can demonstrate a good understanding of child development, have knowledge of
the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and enjoy working with children, we would love to hear from you. We are a friendly, inclusive team who all have the same goal: to provide a great experience for our children and ensure quality childcare for our local families.

Requirements for a Nursery Practitioner:

A minimum level 3 qualification in Early Years or childcare and education
Minimum of 12 months experience is preferred but not necessary
Comprehensive knowledge of child protection and safeguarding
Excellent communication skills to ensure successful teamwork
A desire to continually strive for best practice
A child-centred and inclusive approach to play, learning and development
Right to work in the UK

We are looking for a full time member of staff, working 36 hours a week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
