Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

Working closely with children, families, and colleagues, you will promote a culture of

to support nursery promotion, celebrate children's milestones, and share our values with the wider community.
A strong understanding of
Ofsted guidelines, procedures, and inspection processes
is essential, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality early years education that meets or exceeds inspection standards. Your excellent

, professionalism, and proactive approach will support effective partnerships with families and contribute to a positive, thriving nursery setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding care and education in line with
EYFS
and
Ofsted requirements
Create a
safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
for all children
Plan and deliver
fun, purposeful, and age-appropriate activities
that support children's learning and development
Observe, assess, and track children's progress, ensuring high-quality documentation in line with
Ofsted expectations
Collaborate closely with the team to uphold best practices, participate in peer observations, and maintain a culture of continuous improvement
Contribute to
social media content
, capturing meaningful moments and engaging parents and the local community
Build and maintain
positive relationships with parents and carers
, offering regular communication, support, and guidance
Support colleagues and contribute to a respectful, motivated team environment where ideas and skills are shared openly
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures
Be prepared to
actively participate in Ofsted inspections
, demonstrating knowledge of the inspection framework and evidence-based practice
Communicate clearly and confidently with children, parents, staff, and external professionals, both verbally and in writing
Contribute to the cleanliness, safety, and organisation of the nursery setting, promoting pride in the environment
Take part in nursery events, celebrations, and initiatives that promote engagement and joy in the learning experience
Experience and Skills:
A
Level 3 qualification
in Childcare/Early Years Education (essential)
Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting
, with understanding or involvement in
Ofsted inspections
Strong working knowledge of
EYFS and Ofsted frameworks
and the ability to apply this in practice
A team-oriented, positive attitude with a commitment to collaboration and professional growth
Contribute and Support SEND iniative
A proactive, enthusiastic approach to learning, play, and problem-solving
Excellent
verbal and written communication skills
Confidence in engaging children, parents, and professionals effectively
Familiarity or willingness to contribute to social media as a tool for nursery promotion
Good organisational and time management skills
A clean driving licence is desirable but not essential
