Tiny Heroes Day Nursery is going through an expansion! We are increasing the number of spaces we have available for our children with two brand new rooms and a beautiful garden area!

Which means we are are looking for two caring, creative, and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join our friendly team and help shape the early development of children aged 0-5. You'll be a key person for a small group of children, supporting their learning, wellbeing, and emotional growth in a safe and stimulating environment.

Duties

Manage daily activities and routines within the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children. Provide high-quality childcare, supporting the physical, emotional, and educational needs of each child. Develop and implement engaging learning activities that promote early childhood development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a collaborative approach to each child's care. Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records to inform future planning and share with parents. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's environment and overall experience for children and families. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and supporting junior staff members in their professional development.

Skills

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children's exploration and learning. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances within the nursery environment.

Pay: 24,000.00-35,000.00 per year
