Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner? Our outstanding nursery in Billericay is looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic individual to join our vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the development and care of children within our stimulating and supportive setting.

We are seeking a Nursery Practitioner who is committed to providing the highest standard of child care and early years education. You will work as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and their parents to support their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)framework.
Act as a Key Personfor a group of children, monitoring their progress, and ensuring their individual needs are met.
Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment that promotes each child's development and well-being.
Observe and assess children's development, contributing to their learning journals and planning next steps.
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on their child's day.
Work effectively as part of a supportive team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health, safety, and hygiene are maintained at all times.
Essential Requirements:

Minimum Level 3 full and relevant qualificationin Childcare (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce). This is a mandatory requirement.
At least two years of experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Educator within a childcare setting*.

A solid understanding and working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)*.

A genuine passion for child careand early childhood development.
Proven experience in a role with more children-related experience*.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills:

Paediatric First Aid certificate.
Food Hygiene certificate.
Experience as a Key Person.
A creative, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach to learning through play.
