We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. Duties
Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's development across various areas including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills
Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and organised activities to ensure their safety at all times
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages children's curiosity and independence
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in compliance with regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and daily experiences
Support colleagues in managing daily nursery operations and organise group activities
Ensure the nursery environment remains clean, safe, and well-organised in accordance with health and safety regulations
Assist with administrative tasks related to child records, attendance, and planning
Experience
Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting
Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee daily nursery activities effectively
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Previous experience with childcare management is desirable
Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting children or supplies when necessary
