We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team, providing high-quality care and education to young children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and the ability to create engaging learning experiences. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting children's development and well-being while fostering a safe and stimulating atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional childcare and support the emotional, social, and educational development of children.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
Manage daily routines, ensuring that children are engaged and cared for throughout the day.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
Foster a positive environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.
Uphold health and safety standards within the nursery at all times.
Help to set up and pack away each day.
Prepare snacks.
Skills
Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children and families.
Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is essential.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is highly desirable.
Ability to manage groups of children while ensuring their safety and well-being.
A valid driving licence is advantageous due to location.
Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and fellow staff members.
A genuine passion for nurturing children's development in a nursery environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 13.20 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
