Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our nature based and creative setting. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to young children; supporting learning through imaginative and curious play.

4 day working week available if preferred.
Duties:
Plan, organise and execute a wide variety of activities for the children that are suitable to their individual stages of development.
Ensure that child records are accurate, well-written and up-to-date, including learning plans, reports, observations, accident/incident forms etc.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Provide nurturing care to children in a safe and supportive environment
Implement engaging and creative learning opportunities for children using the natural world and sustainable resources.
Foster positive parent partnerships and help create a sense of belonging for all.
Ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children regardless of any disabilities, family backgrounds or medical history.
Ensure the maintenance of adequate standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the children attending the nursery. This includes changing nappies and toilet training.
Model an empathetic, caring and open approach, keeping the children's needs and interests as a priority within the learning environment.
Skills:
A Level 3 qualification recognised by the DfE for counting in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework staff:child ratios
A clear understanding of how children develop and how to support this
A clear understanding of the ways children enjoy learning
A good knowledge of the EYFS
Reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible
A can-do attitude
Strong communicator with both children and adults
