Job Description

Two positions available for fully qualified Level 3 practitioners.

Minimum Level 3 (not Level 2) qualification, Nursery Practitioners required for St. Aidan's Day Nursery, Harraby, Carlisle.

Starting rate of pay negotiable, at least 13.00 per hour, dependent upon experience & references.



Hours, rate of pay, career progression, pay rises and other benefits to be discussed at interview.



DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT FULLY QUALIFIED AS AN NVQ LEVEL 3 IN CHILDCARE WITH AT LEAST 12 MONTHS CHECKABLE RECENT NURSERY PRACTITIONER EXPERIENCE.



20 days annual holiday (for full time staff & pro-rata part time) PLUS CHRISTMAS SHUT-DOWN PAID HOLIDAY FOR EMPLOYEES WHO PASS PROBATIONARY PERIOD.

THAT'S ALMOST 30 DAYS PAID HOLIDAY.

Must be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3. STRICTLY N0 LEVEL 2.



Positions to start as soon as possible, subject to references/DBS check.



Nursery is open 8.00am to 6pm, so there is a requirement to be flexible to work anytime within these hours.



Your shift pattern could be any of the following:



8-3, 8-11, 12-6, 11-6, 8-5, 8.30-5.30, 9-6.



Good knowledge of the Revised EYFS is essential; you must be able to plan areas and activities that are stimulating for young children to thrive safely.

Short listed candidates will be asked to spend 1 or 2 days with us, so we can see you shine.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Negotiable at least 13.00 per hour start rate
