Job Description

We are looking to recruit a full time qualified Nursery Practitioner - Level 3.

You must already have a level 3 qualification in Childcare before applying for this position.

The role involves working within a busy nursery in Cleckheaton. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about working with children. The day to day duties will include:-

The supervision and care of children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years of age Planning, assessing and carrying out activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage and the individual child's interests ( candidates must have a working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage) Updating and maintaining evidence portfolios Safeguarding children and ensuring their environment within nursery complies with Health and Safety regulations Ability to work successfully within a team and use own initiative. Being committed to giving their best self to multiple children every single day, busy days, quiet days, hard or easy they deserve nothing less. Must be prepared to work within a shift system and flexible with hours, the hours are 37.5 per week and these are broken down by 3 days at 9.5 hours and 1 day at 9 hours with one day off every week (this is not a set day off and will change each week)
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role, cost met by employer.
