We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding both the children and your colleagues, ensuring that all activities are engaging and educational.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development. Create a safe and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and respected. Manage daily routines, ensuring that hygiene standards are met and that the nursery is kept clean and organised. Support children in developing their independence and self-help skills. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings while promoting teamwork among staff.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education ( Level 3 Diploma in Childcare). Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare and early years education. Ability to drive initiatives that promote children's learning experiences while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Knowledge of child development theories and practices related to early childhood education.
