Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Tender Years Day Nursery, Bolton

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team at Tender Years Day Nursery in Bolton.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will help create a nurturing, homely environment where children can play, learn and develop. Your duties will include:

- Planning and leading activities to stimulate the intellectual, physical and emotional development of children

- Providing high standards of care and ensuring the welfare of children

- Building positive relationships with children and parents

- Observing children and assessing their progress

- Maintaining records on development and wellbeing

- Supporting mealtimes and snack times

- Keeping the nursery clean, tidy and safe

The ideal candidate will:

- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent

- Have experience working in a nursery environment

- Be energetic, patient and have a genuine interest in early years education

- Be able to engage and communicate well with young children

- Be organised and pay close attention to detail
