Role: Early Years Educator

Location: Old Dairy Farm Nursery, Petersfield

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and qualified Early Years Educator to join our team. You'll support children aged 0-5 in a stimulating, child-led setting that values time outdoors and hands-on learning.

Old Dairy Farm Nursery is a nature-focused day nursery set on a working farm, nestled at the foot of the South Downs National Park. Our beautiful rural setting offers children the chance to learn, play, and grow in a safe and inspiring outdoor environment.

Our approach is inspired by Reggio Emilia. Our educators act as guides and mentors, helping children learn through their interests and exploration of the world around them.

What You'll Do

? Hold Key Person responsibilities and build strong relationships with children and families

? Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS and our Reggio-inspired approach

? Support children's physical, emotional, and social development through structured play and exploration

? Observe children's progress, identify any concerns, and maintain accurate records

? Ensure a safe and nurturing environment where children feel secure and supported

? Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture

? Maintain a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures

What We're Looking For

? Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years Education

? Experience working with children aged 0-5

? Strong communication and teamwork skills

? A passion for outdoor learning and child-led development

? A good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices

Please Note:

All applicants must hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
