We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Your ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents will be essential in fostering positive relationships within our nursery community.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote the development of children aged 0-5 years. Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times, both indoors and outdoors. Support children's emotional and social development by providing guidance and encouragement. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment focused on high-quality childcare. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised approach. A genuine passion for childcare, with the drive to support children's learning and development. Leadership qualities to inspire and guide other team members when necessary. A commitment to safeguarding children's welfare at all times.
