Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Robin's Childcare, Capel St Mary, Ipswich. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for supporting their development through engaging activities and ensuring their well-being.

Duties

Provide high-quality childcare in accordance with the nursery's policies and procedures. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development. Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Support the management in daily operations, including staff training and mentoring where necessary.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Previous experience working in a nursery setting is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their needs. Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting children as required. A commitment to ongoing professional development within the field of childcare.
