Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality care to all children in our care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment for children to thrive.

West Lodge Day Nursery is a purpose built Day Nursery set within the beautiful grounds of West Lodge Farm Park. This is a full time position working 38 hours per week across 4 days with 1 day off per week. Hours of working are 7.30am -6.00pm per day.

We operate for 51 weeks of the year,

closing for the period between Christmas and New Year. We are also closed on all Bank Holidays.

We are set in the beautiful surroundings of West Lodge Farm and children have daily access to the farm park and all it has to offer.

The successful candidate must have:

A thorough understanding of children's developmental needs and individual learning styles

An understanding of 'in the moment planning'

The importance of maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

The need to help children respect people of different race, ability, gender, religion and culture.
The importance of procedures to follow regarding Safeguarding children

Qualifications & Training: Level 3 or equivalent ( NCFE CACHE,Level 3 diploma for the Early Years, City and guilds Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, BTEC National Diploma - Early Years Educator, NNEB)

Knowledge: Early Years Foundation Stage
