We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being. The Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth through engaging activities and effective communication.
Duties
Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
Manage daily routines, ensuring a safe and organised environment for all children.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to support the overall goals of the nursery.
Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced staff and mentoring new practitioners.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare is essential.
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage groups of children effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
A genuine passion for nurturing children's development and well-being.
Commitment to ongoing professional development within the field of early childhood education.
Due to the rural location having access to transport will be required
