Full time and Part time available

Hourly rate:

13.46 per hour


We are currently seeking a Level 3 Nursery practitioner to join our Babies room (6 months to 2 years) at our Dulwich Day Nursery & Preschool, we provide a home-from-home environment, located on Perry Hill with great bus links from Catford & Catford Bridge Stations and just a 17-minute walk from Bellingham Station. There's also street parking available.


Our babies enjoy music, movement, and baby yoga, while our 2-3 and preschool children explore enriching activities like Spanish, science, show and tell, and cooking to boost creativity and language skills.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development. Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met. Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and promote these daily in every routine. Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families. Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures. Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent. Attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will need:

Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential Fluent in written and spoken English - essential Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable Right to work in the UK-Valid Passport or Settled or Pre-Settled under the EU settlement Scheme.
