Duties

Provide high-quality childcare in a safe and engaging nursery environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring that individual needs are met. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Manage daily routines and maintain a clean, organised nursery space. Support children in developing their independence and self-confidence through guided play and learning experiences. Collaborate with other practitioners to create an inclusive atmosphere that respects diversity.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and fellow staff members. Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with children, parents, and team members. Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Knowledge of early childhood education principles to support children's learning journeys. A drive to create an enriching environment that fosters curiosity and exploration among young learners. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of care.
