Position Overview:

As a

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding care and education to children aged 0-4 years. You'll work closely with the Nursery Manager and fellow team members to ensure the daily operations run smoothly and that the children's learning experiences are positive, engaging, and in line with the

Responsibilities:

Lead by example and foster a positive, supportive environment for both children and staff Plan, deliver, and assess a variety of EYFS-based activities that stimulate and challenge children's learning Observe and record children's developmental progress and share insights with parents and carers Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure consistent and high-quality care Adhere to all health, safety, and safeguarding protocols, ensuring the nursery is a safe environment for all Assist in the day-to-day management of the nursery, maintaining compliance with all policies and regulations Support the development of less experienced staff, promoting a strong team ethos

Requirements:

A

Level 3 Early Years qualification

(or equivalent) - essential Experience in a similar role within a nursery or early years setting Strong knowledge of the

EYFS framework

and safeguarding procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate about providing exceptional care and learning experiences A proactive, organized approach to managing children's learning and development Ability to demonstrate leadership skills, particularly when supporting junior staff or taking the lead in activities
