Responsibilities:

Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum Supervise and engage children during playtime, meals, and rest periods Monitor children's development and behavior, and communicate with parents or guardians as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery area Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children

Skills

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues Patience and understanding to handle various behaviors and emotions of young children Creativity to develop engaging activities that promote learning and development Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with other nursery practitioners Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities A high standard of numeracy and literacy skills Thorough knowledge of the EYFS Framework and curriculum

Qualifications:

Full and Relevant Level 3 Qualification in Childcare Paediatric First Aid Safeguarding Food Hygiene

Experience Desirable:

Experience of working in a school/ nursery environment Keyworking experience Competency in an additional language Experience working with children under 5 years with SEND
