Job Overview

We are seeking several dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their development through engaging activities. The Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in managing daily operations within the nursery, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating effectively with parents.

Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all children in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
- Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills while motivating and guiding apprentices

Experience

- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering children's development through play-based learning experiences.

Qualifications

Level 3 qualification in Early Years.

- Experience working with children in a nursery setting
- Strong background in early childhood education
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents
- Proficiency in English to communicate clearly and effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17,457.44-18,632.46 per year
