We are seeking a Nursery Practitioner with an interest in personal development and enthusiasm for providing the best possible care and experiences for children as well as a desire to learn and grow with an expanding company.
Duties and Responsibilities
:
Sharing in the responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in the nursery.
Ensuring daily domestic routines are completed in the nursery, maintaining high standards to ensure the environment is safe, secure and clean at all times.
Helping to prepare meals and snacks
Planning and implementation of appropriate programmes of activities for the children, helping children with their learning, play, educational and social development.
Ensuring all record keeping on the child's development is in-line with the Nursery policies, and to respect the confidentiality of information received.
Liaising with parents and encouraging their involvement in the aims of the nursery and in all aspects of their child / children's care.
Helping children with feeding, changing clothes, toileting etc.
Ensuring each child is collected in accordance with the collection procedures.
Contributing to the team effort.
Liaising with all employees, children, Parents and Families to ensure the above tasks are completed effectively.

Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding & Child Protection

Qualifications & Requirements
Full and relevant Childcare Qualification (NNEB/CACHE, BTEC or NVQ) Level 3 or above
Sound knowledge of child protection and safeguarding
Ability to deliver a high standard of childcare
Excellent planning, organising and time management skills
Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with children, families, your team and the local community
We will be offering Forest School Activities so an interest in Forest School and willingness to learn would be an advantage.

Schedule
40hrs per week, 8am until 6pm, 4 days per week between Monday to Thursday.
